Mr. Shaw has tried cases to a verdict at all levels in state court, including Criminal District Court, Civil District Court, Family District Court, County Criminal Court, County Court at Law and Justice of the Peace.

The following is an example of some of the types of cases Mr. Shaw has tried before a jury: aggravated robbery, burglary of a habitation, aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, forgery, driving while intoxicated, premises liability, on the job injury, breach of contract, insurance claims, child custody, termination of parental rights by Child Protective Services and will contest.

Mr. Shaw has experience in representing juveniles accused of engaging in delinquent conduct. He has over 20 years experience representing clients’ litigation cases. Our office works closely with our clients from initial fact finding throughout the entire litigation process. We carefully consider every option to amicably settle all disputes, including mediation in civil cases, in order to save time and expense. However, when necessary, we take cases to trial in order to protect the interests of our clients.
