Mr. Shaw is a lifelong resident of Tarrant County. Mr. Shaw founded the firm in 1989, sharing office space with his father, who has been in practice since 1962.

Education

He graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Baylor University. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Baylor Law School in 1988. Mr. Shaw is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association and the College of the State Bar of Texas. He is a former member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association.

Community Involvement

Mr. Shaw is a current member of the Lake Worth Kiwanis and has been an active member for ten years. Mr. Shaw was a director and officer of the Lake Country Property Owner's Association and has served on its board of directors for eight years.
